He founded Underwriters Indemnity Company, which was sold to RLI Corp. in 1999. He is a former director of HCC Insurance Holdings, Inc.
Michele M. Tyson CPA
Underwriting Manager/Principal. Named one of 25 Influential Women in Energy by Oil and Gas Investor, Michele’s three decades of experience span public accounting, private industry and oil and gas surety. Part of IndemCo since its founding, she initially focused on the company’s finance and operations side. Today, in addition to managing those departments, Michele uses her experience to analyze oil and gas companies and enhance IndemCo’s underwriting model. Tim Briggs
Underwriting Manager. Tim brings a unique perspective to the surety market having been a member of a private equity backed upstream oil and gas management team operating assets spread across the major continental onshore and offshore U.S. basins. With business degrees including a Master of Business Administration, his twenty-five year oil and gas operations experience includes financial oversight, banking, surety, and property acquisition and divestiture. Tim combines real world management experience, underwriting expertise, and market perspective that provides IndemCo’s clients with farsighted, effective, and economical surety strategies.
